Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche

Excellent hôtel, très bien situé dans les quartiers élégants et universitaires Pros: L'emplacement idéal pour accéder au quartier latin et au centre de la ville traditionnelle, l'architecture classique ayant conservé son élégance, l'équipement moderne et efficace pour faciliter le séjour des clients, l'accueil aimable par le personnel servialble. Cons: Les canaux d'écoulement dans la salle d'eau ne sont pas bien entretenus; ils sont souvent bouchés, l'eau s'écoule mal.

Pros: Excellent location and accommodating staff. Room a bit smaller than expected. Better bath products should be provided. Shampoo and conditioner of course in a 4 star hotel!

A return to Trianon Rive Gauche Pros: The was a return visit to the Trianon and once again we were delighted with our stay. The location is superb and allows such easy walks down to the Seine to explore both the famous landmarks and hunt for new cafes, shops and sights. The hotel offers an elegant and calm return from such forays and gives one a real sense of belonging in this beautiful city.

Pros: Friendly staff, great location-we could walk everywhere,free cake and coffee in the afternoon. Cons: A little bit noisy...from the street, and also within the hotel.

Brilliant few days with my 4 year old. Pros: Location, room size for a family was great and a view of the Eiffel Tower!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location - highly recommend Pros: I would highly recommend this hotel. It was in a great location and easy to find by taking bus 63 from the Gare de Lyon. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and all the staff were very polite. We stayed in room 706 (classic double) on the 7th floor from 5-9 March (there is a lift). The room was a good size for our needs and very quiet to sleep at night. It even had a view of the Eiffel Tower to the left over the rooftops if you leaned out of the window. There were complimentary drinks in the mini bar (coca cola, orange juice, water) and some biscuits and sweet nuts. There were lots of different channels on the TV so you don’t need to rely on your streaming channels if the weather is not good for sightseeing. Housekeeping kept the room/bathroom spotless. Every afternoon complimentary hot drinks and cake and newspapers are provided in the reception area. The buffet breakfast had a very good choice: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, delicious bakery bread, cheeses, various pastries, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurts, salad and smoked salmon and fresh orange juice. The metro and lots of buses are just a few steps away. The whole area around the hotel feels very safe day and night to walk around with lots of shops, cafés, restaurants all within walking distance. Cons: Only a suggestion to have a grab rail in the bath which is very deep and to add a non-slip mat as the bath gets slippy once wet. Also, the half-glass door is not very efficient and water ends up all over the floor.

Excellent location, fab breakfast. Pros: It was a great location. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The organic food, recycling, care for the environment were to be commended. Cons: The room was quite small but very well organised. We had to pay city taxes despite booking.com saying our price was inclusive of taxes. Not sure who to blame for that!!

Perfect in every way. Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were very pleased with our room choice; deluxe room with a balcony. All the staff were warm and welcoming, and the afternoon complimentary cakes and tea, was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb too. The location couldn't have been better. Just a short walk to Luxembourg Gardens in one direction and only a 14 minute walk to the phenomenal Notre Dame Cathedral. Just wish we'd booked for an extra night so we could have visited Versailles as well. We'll just have to come again another time!
