Fantastic location Pros: Beautiful 🤩 hotel Service outstanding Art Nouveau Hotel Breakfast and drinks service and choice were all excellent. Located very centrally too.

Very poor service and rude response when I asked for the second time Pros: Nice talking staff but service ends there. When we checked in, we reported wifi not working and we once again reported that wifi not working around 10pm, we specifically told that it’s very important for us to have wifi because of my daughter exam and university offer and also my work related emails to attended to. When I asked what was done when we reported at the time of checking in at around 4pm, no response or asking us to come to the reception. Asked for one more wine class at the time of checkin, it’s not arrived. Room temperature is very high in spit we kept the temp to 16C, not sure if there is any action taken if we complain.

outstanding location and nice experience but limit your expectations. Pros: Overall excellent stay but expectations should be more for a 4.5 star hotel rather than 5 stars such as plaza athenee or the ritz (both much much more expensive). checkin was easy and the front desk staff were kind. the room was comfy and pleasant albeit a bit dated. we had a side view of the eiffel tower but only if you peered out the window and turned your head. it was more of a louvre view. we did not have breakfast due to it being quite costly. i was able to see the buffet and it really didn't look worth the high price to me. the concierge services were outstanding and they even made several dinner reservations for us prior to our arrival. they were also able to get museum tickets when they were sold out online. the location is unbeatable as it is very central and with easy access to multiple subway lines and buses. the one working elevator was tiny and felt more like a service elevator. hallways were wide and quiet. being middle of december, we got a relatively low rate which made our stay very worthwhile. not sure how we would see it if we were paying high season rates as there are other less expensive hotels in the vicinity.

Disappointing stay in Paris Pros: Nice historical hotel. The location is stunning and the staff at the door and the valet were really friendly and helpful. Pretty view from the room. Cons: Honestly after staying in many 5 stars recently that was the most disappointing experience. Starting by the concierge service… what happened to the “certainly Sir”?? In a 5 stars with such a large concierge team. To give you an example: you ask before Christmas for gift wrapping paper to wrap a gift, they simply answer they don’t have anymore. We are speaking of an hotel in the center of Paris with 100s of shop in the vicinity, not one secluded on a private island… The junior suite with Eiffel view felt a bit old and could do with a bit of a renovation also it didn’t look like what they advertised online (they advertised upper floor suite). Asked to see another room, they couldn’t show us anything until the next day.. but by lack of time and convenience we stayed in the suite we were provided at check out. A small minus: The hotel valet parking doesn’t offer any charging station for EV.
