Hôtel Plaza Athénée - Dorchester Collection

It is a great hotel. Pros: My experience at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff were not only friendly but also remarkably attentive, which made for an atmosphere that exuded both peace and royalty.

Good as usual, but with a slight twist. Pros: We have stayed at Plaza Athenee quite a few times before. It has always been amazing. We are grateful that the hotel upgraded our room this time. We did notice the change of restaurant. We didn't manage to have any main meals at the hotel this time, but the afternoon tea was still as good and innovative as it had been. Cons: It seemed that limousine service is now outsourced and a bit less up to standard. The lady chauffeur who picked us up at the airport was wearing very high heels (like 3-4 inches), which made us a bit uneasy, considering it can be dangerous driving in heels this high, especially with passengers in the car. Also, the chauffeur was coughing quite a bit without a mask, but told us we could either go for keeping the windows open or having air-con on, but not both... For hygienic purpose, we chose to keep the windows open, and it was 29 °C outside. That was not very pleasant.

Plaza 2023 Pros: Plaza Athenee never disappoints. Their concierge team goes above and beyond to get you reservations in venues that were even fully booked

Pros: I was thrilled to at last be able to stay there. Staff was above and beyond kind and friendly. Le Relais in the hotel was the best meal of our trip! I felt incredibly welcome and hope to return next year.
