Great location, cozy rooms, but don’t take the patio!

Great location, cozy rooms, but don’t take the patio! Pros: Clean modern rooms. Perfect location, pleasant atmosphere. Forget the view on pictures here and don’t take the patio. Cons: Pictures on booking are misleading. We had a room with small patio on a ground floor separated only by fence from joint seating area where other guests smoked! Not quite extra space and not what I have expected! We could change the room only for 50€ additional fee!

Service and Location Twinkled Like the Eiffel Tour at Night

Service and Location Twinkled Like the Eiffel Tour at Night Pros: Prior to our arrival at Hotel Walt (two nights) I bombarded them with first-timer questions about their facilities, etiquette and transportation options from CDG. Each query was responded to almost immediately, with courtesy and compassion. They arranged for a wonderful driver to meet us at the airport; the only glitch was that CDG was extraordinarily busy with Parisians returning from holiday . Still, we made it! The location near the Eiffel Tour was heavenly. Unfortunately we were not able to book a room with a view of the icon, but others with better planning achieved that dream. Next time! Everyone was simply marvelous, but one employee, Jad, was a stand-out. He was supremely attentive, unduly compassionate during a time of great crisis. He was a balm to help heal a wound. Merci beaucoup, Monsieur! Anne Marie, the chef/waiter/breakfast hostess was old-school efficient and charming as well. I will return some day.

Parisian Perfection

Parisian Perfection Pros: We have just had a four night stay at Hotel Le Walt in Paris. Whatever I say about this Hotel will simply not do it justice....it was beautiful. We stayed in Paris for our 40th wedding anniversary so it was a special occasion which the Hotel Le Walt made even more special. The hotel is situated 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, it is surrounded by cafes, Bistros, Patisseries and shops. The local Metro station, 'Ecole Militaire' is literally outside the front door. Our room was perfect...very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff too were amazing. Every person on the front desk were extremely helpful and provided service with a smile. The housekeepers kept the room absolutely spotless. A special mention for the lady in the dinning area who served our breakfast, I think her name is Anne-Marie, she was wonderful...such a lovely, helpful, caring human being....and she made perfect scrambled eggs. The Hotel Le Walt isn't the cheapest Hotel in Paris but is exceptional....you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
