I would recommend the hotel for alone travellers amd couples ( to be fair it does say botique) , woild not recommend for
I would recommend the hotel for alone travellers amd couples ( to be fair it does say botique) , woild not recommend for Pros: It’s location and it was quiet. Cons: The lifts- it was in service without notice for half hour! We had an elderly low vision person in our group and it was difficult to go down the tiny spiral staircase for a 20/20 person let alone a blind person. In addition, the carpet pattern made it very dangerous to see the stairs.

Hard to beat for location, style, and ambiance.
Hard to beat for location, style, and ambiance. Pros: Close to everything, walk or metro. Small lobby bar is just perfect when waiting or winding down. Rooms and lobby are unique, artsy, fun and sophisticated. My second visit, as good as the first. Helpful staff, everything clean, fine dining nearby.

Great hotel, horrible beds
Great hotel, horrible beds Pros: Our room was great. It was an odd shape, but for a large European city we had a lot of space. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was always very helpful. The area is also great; it’s quiet but close to most of the tourist spots. However, the bed was awful. I felt like I was sleeping on a table because it was so hard. I was very tired every night and I still had trouble sleeping because the bed was so uncomfortable. If it weren’t for the bed, I would stay here again.

Perfect location - a short 2 minutes' walking distance to Maison de la Chemie conference venue.
Perfect location - a short 2 minutes' walking distance to Maison de la Chemie conference venue. Pros: I love that they have a working elevator and I did not have to lug my suitcase up to the 6th Floor! The decor of the hotel is modern and chic. The linens and towels were of good quality. The hotel placed complimentary macaroons in my room when I checked in :) Cons: I booked a "privilege room" which was comfortable and spacious. However, for the price I paid for 3 nights' it would have been great if they added a coffee/juice/pastries package with the hotel room. Also, the hotel should refresh bottled water in the room, which they did not do after my first night.

Great location
Great location Pros: The location is simply great - very convenient walking distance to many sights. Hotel is very clean. The room I had was fairly large for Paris hotels. It did not have a proper window, but it did not really matter. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great Stay with Some Missed Opportunities
Great Stay with Some Missed Opportunities Pros: I recently stayed at Hôtel Bourgogne & Montana for a week, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They accommodated all our requests with warmth, even arranging a private van to take us to Versailles and back, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortably cool despite the hot weather, which was a relief. Cons: However, there were a few missed opportunities that could have made our stay even better: No Mini Fridge – This was a big issue for us since we needed to store insulin pens that must be kept cool. The reception kindly offered to store them in a shared fridge, but that wasn’t ideal for privacy and accessibility. A simple empty mini fridge in the room would solve this problem without needing to stock it with drinks. Missing Basic Amenities – While the bathroom had shampoo and body wash, there was no bar of soap or a glass for toothbrushes. Also, the room had a hairdryer but no iron or ironing board, which was inconvenient. Cooking Smells – Every morning, strong cooking odors seeped into our room through the bathroom vents and hallway door. It was quite overwhelming, especially since we were on the first floor. Not sure if this affected higher floors as well, but it was unpleasant. Despite these issues, the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel stood out. With a few small improvements—like adding mini fridges, basic toiletries, and better ventilation—this could easily be a 5-star experience. I’d still recommend staying here, especially for the wonderful staff and central location, but I hope the management considers these suggestions for future guests. Would I stay again? Yes, but with the hope that these small upgrades are made.
