Beautiful oasis Pros: Fantastic oasis with a beautiful pool both outside and indoor and saunas. Cons: It is a little far (25-30 min walk)and the shuttles can be full. It is however very easy to bike and you can rent a bike (15min)

Lovely place Pros: My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in a fantastic spacious room with a spa bath, overlooking the River Arno with a private balcony. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary which the hotel honoured with various special touches, thank you! We loved using the spa and had it to ourselves on numerous occasions. The food is excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast as well as an evening meal (the Florentine Steak is incredible!) The outdoor pool area is lovely to laze around in the sun. We used the free shuttle bus which drops you right into the centre of town and collects you also. The staff are all very attentive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in Florence!

Four perfect days in Florence, a hidden gem worth every penny Pros: We spent four days here and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The location strikes a rare balance: close enough to Florence’s historic center to feel connected, yet tucked away enough to escape the crowds entirely. The complimentary bicycles were a genuine highlight, not just a practical perk, but a real part of the experience. Exploring the city on two wheels, especially given how chaotic taxi circulation can be, felt like the right way to discover Florence at your own pace. We were also pleasantly surprised by the pool, kept at a comfortable 31°C, and the spa corner at 34°C, a wonderfully quiet retreat to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast and dinner at the table were both excellent, and the bar delivers on its classics with well-crafted cocktails. If there’s one minor note, it’s that the bedroom felt a little snug for three people, something worth keeping in mind when booking. Overall, a wonderful stay we’d happily repeat.

You can truly feel the intention behind the food. The spa area is, without exaggeration, a dream. A serene, intimate space designed for deep relaxation, where time seems to slow down. It completes the entire experience in a way that makes you not want to leave. Ville sull’Arno is one of those rare places where luxury is not loud, but deeply felt. A place we will absolutely return to, and one we recommend without hesitation to anyone who truly appreciates quality, detail, and authenticity.
