Normandy Le Chantier

Pros: A great hotel, located right next to the Louvre; it’s easy to walk to all the sights, the breakfast is good and tasty, and the staff are helpful. Cons: On the downside: renovation work started at 8:20 a.m. and it was very noisy; whenever the door to the neighboring room closed, the door to our room would slam loudly.

Excellent location, a place that felt special and very in keeping with the Parisian experience. Pros: When we got there, they were completing refurbishment work so upgraded us to a suite for free. Staff were really friendly, the location was absolutely amazing (cross the road, take a right - you're in front of the entrance to the Louvre). This place is lovely, we will go back. On site wine bar is pricey - but it's full of top quality wines and excellent service. Cons: This place was great.

You can live the dream of Paris in this hotel! Pros: Great location and close to all of what Paris has to offer. Wonderful wine bar and excellent restaurant in hotel. The staff is superb! They are attentive, welcoming and go above and beyond to be helpful.

Wonderful. If I were to come back to Paris, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Pros: I liked the central location and the proximity to all the main sights. The building was beautiful. The room was quite spacious, by Paris standards. It was also very clean. But the best thing about the hotel were the girls at Reception. Very polite, friendly and always eager to help with anything you needed. Cons: There were renovations going on and we could hear noise , but it wasn’t too bad. We didn’t stay in the hotel during the day anyway.

Decent value and good location, but not amazing. Pros: A great location for exploring some of Paris’s key sites! Cons: Our room was not a pictured and w me couldn’t change. A weird layout and noisy situation in the mornings. Only a light service of the room, with strange sheets (two singles over a double bed).
