Better for tourism than business

Better for tourism than business Pros: - Staff was helpful and tried to go out of their way. I appreciated that. - Nespresso machine in the room - Dog friendly - Has underground garage Cons: - Old, poorly cleaned elevator - Sockets in strange places. Not great for a business customer - Desk on the smaller side and cluttered with phone, ipad - Bavarian music in the public spaces - Out of hours, staff in the larger sister hotel picks up the request, and they may be limited in ability to help with any query - Cleaner didn'empty and clean a used teacup

Munich with your dog

One dog per person rides free on S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram and bus with a valid ticket, on a short leash; dangerous dogs need a muzzle.
Bavaria has no general leash law, so dogs may run free unless a rule says otherwise. In Munich the Westpark, the Englischer Garten (north and south) and park paths inside the green bollards are leash-only.
Big dogs (from 50 cm at the shoulder) must be leashed inside the old-town ring and in pedestrian zones.
For a swim, the Isar works well; the city advises avoiding the Flaucher and inner-city stretches because of broken glass.
