Schönes Flughafen-Hotel Pros: Ideal, wenn man am nächsten Morgen mit dem Flugzeug losmuss. Cons: Es war alles bestens.

Our go-to hotel when leaving through MUC. Pros: Excellent hotel right between Terminals 1 and 2.

Pros: Helpful staff, a comfy bed, decent breakfast and a perfect location. Cons: Didn't have a bathrobe in the room. I asked at reception, but never received one

Runway view Pros: We booked a king executive room with runway view, which turned out to be a corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows on 2 sides. Some of the view was blocked by trees and buildings, but it was still a really good room to see planes taxiing and taking off. I had asked for a high floor and got floor 5, so floor 6 would be even better. It looks like there are 2 corner rooms facing the runway on each floor. The room itself was modern, with lots of outlets, a glass-enclosed rain shower, and a tub. There was an electric kettle for both tea and instant coffee. The hotel is conveniently situated between Terminals 1 and 2 with lots of food options nearby, including a Rewe store and a beer garden. The room we booked did come with access to the executive lounge, but breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant rather than the lounge. The lounge is on the bottom floor, and does have snacks and a happy hour, but we couldn’t find the hours written down anywhere so we decided to give it a pass, along with breakfast. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would stay here again.

Expensive but fabulously handy airport sleepover Pros: So quick from arrival gate to bed after a long day. Beautiful room with classy decor. Fabulous Crabtree products.. Wonderfully comfy bed. Cons: Shower-over-bath was very difficult to get into for a tired 70+ traveller as it had very high sides. The "included" breakfast buffet looked lovely but the food wasn't so much better than the fabulous breakfast buffets that I'd had in Croatia. I overheard someone ask the casual rate and it was very overpriced
