Halloween 2026 with your dog: 4 hotel offers in Europe

Four hotels listed on HosPet have published a Halloween 2026 offer on their own websites: in Florence, Riccione, Lake Garda and Madrid. We read every offer page and every pet policy on 21 October 2026. Here is what each one includes and what changes if you travel with a dog.

One thing first: none of these offers includes the dog, and none has a pet discount. The hotel's normal pet fee applies on top of the offer.

Florence: FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo

A 4-star hotel on the Lungarno with a Halloween package:

• 1 or more nights in a room of your choice
• dinner on 31 October in the hotel restaurant, drinks included
• buffet breakfast every day
• a welcome gift in your room when you arrive

The price shows when you choose your dates on the official offer page. If you only want the dinner, the Ristorante Arno serves a Halloween tasting menu on Saturday 31 October from 7.30 pm: €59 per person with wine, children up to 3 free, from 4 to 9 half price (dinner page).

Your dog:

• one pet per room, up to 10 kg
• €25 a day plus a final charge of €35
• a copy of your pet's insurance for damage to property and people is needed when you book
• a soft mat and a water bowl in the room, and a dedicated pet area

Riccione: The Box Horror Story

The Box Hotel holds the second edition of "The Box Horror Story", a costume party on Halloween night. It is an adults-only hotel. The package:

• one night with breakfast, in the room type you choose
• a dinner with a Halloween menu at MAD, the hotel's cocktail bar and restaurant
• the party, with a DJ set and performers

One rule: nobody comes as themselves, so plan a costume. The price is on request, with the form on the official party page.

Your dog:

• dogs stay in the pet rooms, a limited number, all with a balcony, so book early
• your dog can come with you everywhere in The Box and at MAD: breakfast, lunch, aperitif and dinner
• a soft cushion and bowls for water and food in the room
• on request: a dog menu, dog sitting, grooming with a dog taxi, and a vet available 24 hours
• €15 a day for a 1-night stay, €12 a day for 2 nights or more

Lake Garda: Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort

A resort in a 70,000 square metre park in Riva del Garda, with a Halloween Special for families from 28 October to 2 November 2026:

• a night in one of the rooms, or in the Villa and Murialdo Suites
• breakfast
• on 31 October: a snack at Molo44 with chestnuts and a glass of mulled wine for each guest
• on 31 October, from 3 pm to 6 pm: a spooky treasure hunt for children with their parents
• on 31 October: horror make-up for children
• a surprise in the room for the children
• free access to the Spa Armonia wellness path

The kids' club is for children older than 3. The price shows in the booking system from the official offer page.

Your dog:

• dogs are welcome
• €30 a night per dog
• at most 2 dogs per room
• the resort gives instructions for the stay when you book or on arrival

Madrid: a murder mystery dinner at Hard Rock Hotel

On 31 October, Hard Rock Hotel Madrid turns into a crime scene. This is a dinner, not a room package:

• an immersive dinner inspired by Cluedo: actors stage a murder in four acts, and you solve it between courses
• a special menu and a welcome drink are included
• two seatings: 7.30 pm or 9.30 pm

The price is not published: you book a table through the link on the hotel's homepage, which opens the reservation system of its Roxy Garden restaurant for 31 October 2026.

Your dog, with the hotel's "Unleashed" programme:

• one dog per room, up to 11 kg (the hotel can make exceptions for small dogs)
• €30 per stay
• a dog bed, a food bowl and treats in the room
• dogs are welcome in the lobby, the Sessions restaurant and the Roxy Garden, always on a lead
• the team gives tips on dog walkers, dog-friendly restaurants and vets

Ask before you book

None of the four pages says whether your dog can come to the Halloween dinner or party itself. Only The Box says dogs are welcome at dinner every day. Ask the hotel when you book, and check whether the pet fee is per night or per stay.
